Events
We plan community educational events three times a year so you can come and learn more about organizing your photos. Subscribe to the newsletter or visit the Facebook page at Captured Memories Photo Solutions and like the page so you'll get an invitation to our next event.
Jumpstart January - Annually in January Every January we set goals: goals to eat healthier or to exercise more, goals to sleep or read more, and goals to become more organized and spend more time with family. I can help you become organized so you can treasure family photos and memories. Many people value their photos as a cherished possession, yet the photos are often forgotten in a closet. I can help you to take those photos and turn them into something the whole family can enjoy. Think about this, if you have photos in your house just waiting to be enjoyed, are you holding onto the memories or holding onto the mess? Spring Cleaning Your Memories - Annually in Spring Spring is a season of hope and new beginnings, so why not start fresh with your photos and make them possible to enjoy? This event will help you organize your photos and prioritize what is important to you. The event will also help you decide whether or not a photo is worth keeping, or if it should be thrown away. For example, many blurry photos can be thrown away, but some will have a significance to you such as a picture of a relative who is no longer alive. It is great to keep meaningful photos of loved family members, but it is not necessary to keep a blurry photo of someone's foot that they took on accident and you may not even know who it is! This event will help you clean out photos that you don't need, so you will be able to enjoy your best and favorite photos more. |
Save Your Photos Day - Annually in September
Save Your Photos Day is an event to help protect your memories in case of an emergency. When discussing emergencies and disasters we often think of fires, tornado, floods, and other natural disasters, but there are other emergencies such as computer crashes or computer theft that are just as unexpected and damaging to your photos. This event will help you protect and backup your photos to prevent memories from disappearing. For more information on Save Your Photos Day visit www.saveyourphotos.org. |
