Happy Saturday to you on this rainy afternoon!
A couple of weeks ago I started a new project for CoNetrix. They had a huge scrapbook that was created with great care, but 20 years of page turning left this 20-inch X 25-inch book in pieces. We decided that recreating the book in a digital book in a 12 x 12 size would be more manageable. When I got ready to take the book, one of the longtime employees commented that all their memories were in there. I assured them that I would take good care of them and we should take a photo of the handoff.
This made me think about how often people are handing off precious memories to me. We talk about their desires for the project, who is going to receive it, or if we need multiple copies. Then either we work together or they hand it off to me. Because of my story about why I started my business, I know how precious these photos are to people. All those pieces of a family's story or a business history are put together into something new that lets those memories live on.
If you have memories that you'd like to recreate into something new, let's talk. I promise to take the best care of them.
